K. Di Biase Educational Philosophy

Creative minds have always been known to survive any kind of bad training.-Anna Freud
My educational philosophy pivots around the love of learning. I did not enjoy my education until my post-grad work 20+ years later. I did survive my educational experience, but I did not thrive. Searching for what good could be pulled from my experience is something I have embedded into my philosophy. I want my learners experience to be one of thriving not just surviving. Teaching how to learn in an enjoyable manner is key to keeping learner connected to their experience. In the art world, the process has greater value than the final product. While the final product is a tangible assessment, the process of constructing happens within a person and is in more than one way immeasurable.
